Course Description
- Attendance for for online training with Clinical Director via Zoom
- One written assessment
- Three video clips (15mins each) of learners using strategies learnt during training to help a child with special needs in their development.
Course Objectives
- Understand the development and underlying theory of ABA
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of techniques targeting a multitude of behaviours such as language, social, academic, leisure and functional life
- Utilise procedures and technology derived from ABA principles to carry out and apply ABA flexibly to support a wide range of populations, particularly children with special needs
- Learn behavioural management methods such as using work schedules, token economy and reinforcement schedules to help child overcome behavioural issues
